Victoria Marr

Vicky has been with BRB since 1996 and is now a Soloist. Born in Scotland, she trained at Elmhurst School for Dance and the Royal Ballet School. She is known both for her classical dancing and for her expressive acting roles, including the indominable and scene-stealing Carabosse, the wicked fairy in Sir Peter Wright’s The Sleeping Beauty. Her favourite role to date is Fortuna in BRB’s Carmina burana, a role she aspired to perform since seeing the production as a young girl. She joined Ballet Hoo! during the first summer of workshops, and has offered ongoing support to individual students and ballet staff throughout Phase 2.
