BRB announcements August 2006

At the end of the 2005/2006 Season, Birmingham Royal Ballet is able to announce the following:

Promotions:
James Grundy, Jonathan Payn and Kosuke Yamamoto are promoted from Soloists to Senior Soloists.
Joseph Caley and Alexander Campbell are promoted from Artists to First Artists.

Dancers leaving or left during the season:
Letizia Giuliani
Mateo Klemmayer
Josephine Pra
Juan Torres

The following dancers who have joined the Company:
Yasuo Atsuji joined BRB from the Royal Ballet School, as a first year Artist
Clara Blanco joined the Company from San Francisco Ballet as a First Artist
Linnar Looris joined the Company as a Soloist from Estinian National Ballet

And the following dancers who will join the Company this season:
Annie Carroll will join as an Artist from the Royal Ballet School
Mathias Dingman will join as an Artist from the Universal Ballet Academy, Washington DC
Céline Gittens will also join as an Artist from the Goh Ballet Academy, Canada
Glyn Scott will join as an Artist from the American Ballet Theatre Studio Company.
