Applying for a position



ADMINISTRATIVE, TECHNICAL AND SUPPORT STAFF, AND MUSICIANS



Unless otherwise indicated, you should submit a full CV with a covering letter highlighting relevant experience and what appeals to you about the positions. Indicate clearly:

1. The title of the position you are applying for

2. Current salary details

3. Your full name (and stage name if appropriate)

4. Your address (including post code) and contact telephone number

Interview and audition arrangements


Unless otherwise stated, interviews are held at our base at the Birmingham Hippodrome, Birmingham. Orchestral auditions are usually held in London. You will normally be notified that you have been short-listed for interview or audition by telephone and in writing. Wherever possible you will receive at least seven days' notice of your interview date.

We would like to ensure that the interview arrangements are appropriate to your needs. If you have particular requirements in respect of your needs at interview (e.g. wheelchair access, sign interpretation etc) or regarding the scheduling of your interview, please give details in a covering note with your application or advise us by telephone at least three days before your interview date.

Travel expenses for interview / audition


Birmingham Royal Ballet will reimburse reasonable travel expenses for travelling to attend interviews/auditions. This consists of standard class rail tickets or mileage at 40p per mile. Please ensure that you keep copies of all tickets/receipts, as we will not be able to reimburse your travel costs without them.

Please note that for those not living in the UK, Birmingham Royal Ballet is unable to reimburse travel expenses unless agreed in advance.
