After-show interviews transcipt - part 2

I've also got Christian with me as well, how was the evening for you...

Christian: -AKA Kupid!

AKA Kupid, how could we forget!

Christian: (Laughs) It's been amazing today, everyone was great. Linden was heavy, Linden smashed it, the mandolin's smashed it, the mandolin boys. We got a whole different energy once the audience was out there. Like through the rehearsals it was all; 'you're not doing this right, you're not doing that', you know, but then all I'm hearing now is; 'You did it, the curtain went up and you did it'. It was great man.

Everyone must feel really, really proud.

Christian: Everyone, I've not seen anyone who has tears in their eyes that weren't tears of joy. The only tears I've seen are tears of joy. Only ones.

There's a lot of emotion, it has to be said.

Christian: Yo, I'm hyped!

Well I've got Gemma here as well, how was the whole experience for you?

Gemma: Amazing! And I got to kiss a dancer!

You did! You got to kiss Alex, Alex Campbell from BRB.

Gemma: Yes!

He turns round and smooches you!

Gemma: Yes!

How many rehearsals did you get for this and did you get to kiss him every single time?!

Gemma: Yes, every single time, but it was only on the cheek though.

Really? But he really went for it this evening though!

Gemma: I know!

He really went for it! Was it a shock?

Gemma: Yes!

Has it changed your perception of ballet and the guys?

Gemma: Oh yeah! I'm coming more often! I'm coming to watch the show on Saturday.

Who are you hoping to see on the stage?

Gemma: Alex!

Well, you must be very, very proud of everything you've acheived, very proud, so congratulations.

Gemma: Thankyou

Well I've got Ian here as well, How was the evening for you?

Ian: It was really... the best I've ever had, anyway, because... my first time on a big stage theatre like that, just, really, really good for me.

What was it like expressing yourself with movement?

Ian: Really good, I wasn't scared or nothing, because I'm like, I've done it before, as I say I've done Michael Jackson dances and everything, and like, it's been really good. And harder, I don't know, there's just more acting!

Do you think you're going to keep in touch with a lot of the people you've met through the project?

Ian: Yeah! Me and Anton are doing Ballet at the DanceXchange! We've started ballet!

So you're going to keep it going?

Ian: Yeah, we're keeping it going

Fantastic, well I hope it all goes well for you.

Ian: Thankyou.
