Royal Patron for Elmhurst School for Dance

Elmhurst School for Dance is delighted to announce that HRH The Duchess of Cornwall has accepted its invitation to become Patron of the School.

This patronage by Her Royal Highness gives the School its first Royal Patron in its 106-year history.

John McNamara, Principal of Elmhurst said:
“Everyone at Elmhurst is more than delighted that Her Royal Highness has accepted this invitation. The recent visit to our state of the art facility in Edgbaston by both The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall served as an amazing inspiration to the whole school.”

Elmhurst School for Dance, in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet, moved from Camberley Surrey to Birmingham in 2004. It offers vocational and academic education to students from throughout the UK and from overseas.  It’s direct link with BRB has helped to ensure the school’s position as one of the leading dance schools in the country and is fast becoming the school of choice for students wishing to pursue a career within the dance world.
