BRB to debut at 2007 Virginia Arts Festival

Britain’s leading classical touring company to debut in Norfolk, Virginia with The Sleeping Beauty

Birmingham Royal Ballet will perform Sir Peter Wright’s bewitching production of The Sleeping Beauty at the Virginia Arts Festival, Norfolk USA in May 2007.

The Virginia Arts Festival will be in its eleventh year and is part of the 400th anniversary celebrations of Jamestown.

Jamestown was the first permanent English settlement in the Americas and the traditions established at Jamestown including representative government, the rule of law and cultural diversity, form the basis of American culture today.

BRB will feature as one of the special events that will pay homage to the anniversary and will perform alongside The Virginia Symphony who will bring the Tchaikovsky score to life.
