Department for LearningFreefall FiveFreefall's Fifth anniversary performances of Freefall Five were a great success. Showcasing five diverse repertoire pieces, on Thursday 10 April, Freefall performed to students from Fox Hollies School and Bournville College as a part of the company's developing community and outreach programme. On Friday 11 April, despite one of the dancers being unable to perform due to injury, Freefall lived the mantra 'the show must go on', and received standing ovations from an enthusiastic audience that included the Lord Mayor of Birmingham. Over the forthcoming months, Freefall dancers will be completing their Arts Award studies and furiously creating their next dance for Birmingham's Arts Fest this coming autumn. |
