Department for LearningBallet Fit – Cocks Moors Woods Leisure CentreOver four days in February, a physiotherapist and dancers from Birmingham Royal Ballet visited Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre to do a health and fitness project. The project aimed at demonstrating the physical strength and fitness required of ballet dancers; however it also incorporated this to apply to everyone in trying to improve their health and fitness – at a time when it's usually desperately needed just after Christmas! Some of the people participating in the project also visited Birmingham Royal Ballet to participate in a ballet class, have a tour of the Jerwood Centre and watch the All That Jazz. |
