Sylvia photoshoot video

David Bintley directed a photoshoot last week for his forthcoming reworking of Sylvia, due to be performed by the Company in the spring. Standing before the lens were Chi Cao as Amynta, Nao Sakuma as Sylvia, Elisha Willis as Diana - Goddess of the hunt, Alexander Campbell as Eros - God of love, and Jonathan Caguioa and Steven Monteith as a pair of pirates.

While some of the costumes used may still be redesigned by the time the final piece returns to the stage in 2009, the shoot offered a first glimpse of the dancers in character.
