Sue Alvarez's Legacy

A charitable trust recently made a gift to Birmingham Royal Ballet in memory of one of their Trustees, Sue Alvarez. Here they explain what that gift signifies to them.

Whether as a performer, a teacher, an agent or member of the audience, the performing arts were something that ran deep with every part of Sue's life. She understood the power of the arts to enrich our lives. She loved to share her passion with everyone around her. Her tastes were eclectic but ballet was always something that she felt a connection to. By supporting Birmingham Royal Ballet she hoped to help a new generation gain as much out of this extraordinary organisation as she did.
