Dance Track Celebration Event
At the end of the Dance Track year in July, a Celebration Event is held at the Patrick Centre, Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre. This event is an opportunity for family, friends and teachers to see the young participants perform their new ballet skills on stage. During the first part of the performance the Dance Track students show the ballet exercises that they have been working on throughout the year and demonstrate their ballet steps and combinations.
In the second half, each class performs a dance that they have worked on in class over the last term. In the past we have seen Cowboy dances, Sailor dances, and dances linked with Birmingham Royal Ballet repertory such as La Fille mal gardée, Coppélia and Elite Syncopations.
