Birmingham Royal Ballet is pleased to announce its ArtsFest 2010 performance will be supported by The Ticket Factory, Birmingham’s own national ticketing agency. On Saturday 11 September at 3pm on the main stage in Centenary Square, Birmingham Royal Ballet will perform excerpts from its celebrated repertory including Slaughter on 10th Avenue, Brouillards, Concerto, Printer Jam, The Lady and the Fool and Le Corsaire. Also supported by The Ticket Factory during the festival will be a performance by Birmingham Royal Ballet’s Freefall Dance Company. Freefall will perform a new piece called Seaside Rendezvous on Sunday 12 September at midday at the Repertory theatre’s The Door studio. Freefall was established in 2002 to provide training and performing opportunities for gifted young people with severe learning difficulties. The Ticket Factory is one of the leading ticket agents responsible for Birmingham Royal Ballet’s Birmingham Hippodrome seasons and it will continue to support ticket sales for the company’s Cinderella season at London’s Coliseum from 29 March to 2 April 2011. The Ticket Factory, launched in 2007, offers a compelling alternative to other ticket agents by putting the customer at the heart of ticket purchasing journey. The Ticket Factory has got the customer service ethos, the experience and authority of more than 25 years as the UK’s most successful venue box office for The NEC, LG Arena and The NIA - and now the scale and reach of a national ticketing agent with a 24 hour service. The celebrations will continue at ArtsFest as Birmingham Royal Ballet and its Director, David Bintley will be honoured on the Broad Street Walk of Stars. The stars will be presented before the company’s ArtsFest performance and the stars will be the 19th and 20th that have been represented during the four years of the walk. ArtsFest is the UK’s largest free annual arts festival that continues to celebrate West Midland’s Arts Organisations.
