Let us tell you a story
Birmingham Royal Ballet is very fortunate to have a strong and loyal audience, in Birmingham and around the UK. Your support and continued attendance at our performances is an amazing affirmation of our work, and we are extremely grateful.
Given the ongoing economic climate, as a company we continue to plan with great care. This year the ballets on offer have some fantastic stories to tell. From Swan Lake in the autumn, through a revival of our hugely successful Cinderella for Christmas, to Coppélia and Giselle in the summer. Add to the mix Aladdin, created for the National Ballet of Japan, and joining the Company’s repertory in February 2013. This new adaptation returns to the original story, with its background in the Arabian 1001 Nights, and promises to be spectacular.
The British ballet tradition of storytelling is one of the most justly celebrated qualities of the art form. We hope that you will continue to find time to escape from the worries of the world and join us on an adventure to other lands and times.
During the coming year, we hope you will join us and continue to be a part of our story...
