Sunderland autumn season goes on sale
March 12, 2007
Sunderland is the second venue to confirm dates for Birmingham Royal Ballet's autumn tour, following the announcement of BRB's Plymouth dates last week.
The Company performs David Bintley's Edward II (Wednesday 17 - Thursday 18 October), as well as a programme of three short works, Paquita, Daphnis and Chloë, and Nine Sinatra Songs (Friday 19 - Saturday 20 October), at the Sunderland Empire, BRB's home in the North East. Additional matinee performances are on the Thursday and Saturday afternoons.
The announcement follows BRB's Spring performances at the theatre, which saw the Company present a mixed programme of Stravinsky and Balanchine works, as well as Cyrano, also by BRB Director David Bintley.
To book your seats, call the Sunderland Empire box office on 0870 602 1130, or click here to visit the venue's section of the ticketmaster website.
