Julie Bernard
Julie Bernard worked in partnership with Sharon Kilhams on the costumes for
Danses concertantes. Born in France, she studied Space and Event design for 2 years
before specialising in Theatre Design at UCE Birmingham by way
of the Erasmus European Exchange Program. More comfortable with set design, she
found this experience very rewarding, and the contact with dancers as
scenic a designer particularly exciting. She would like to improve this link
with dance with the aim of working in new theatre productions. She has
already attended a series of workshops at
the Opéra in Paris and at other French and English Theatres.
