Maureya Lebowitz

Born in Malibu, California, Maureya Lebowitz trained with Paige Thomas at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. After graduating in 2007 she joined the Royal Winnipeg Ballet where she became the youngest dancer in the company ever to dance the title role in Rudi van Danzig's Romeo and Juliet. In 2010 she performed a pas de deux in the presence of Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Philip. She joined Birmingham Royal Ballet in June 2011.
