Peter Farmer
Peter Farmer has designed for most major ballet companies. His designs include Swan Lake (Royal
Winnipeg Ballet), The Tales of Hoffmann (Hong Kong Ballet), The Nutcracker (Rome Opera House),
Anna Karenina (Australian Ballet), La Sylphide (London City Ballet), Coppélia
(National Ballet of Portugal) Winter Dreams (Royal Ballet) and The Nutcracker (English National
Ballet. His work for Birmingham Royal Ballet includes Giselle, The Dream, Paquita, Theme and Variations,
Dorian Gray, Les Sylphides, Coppélia and Birthday Offering. He designed MacMillan's
Manon for Vienna State Opera. He is a successful painter and has had numerous one-man exhibitions.
