Protecting Veil, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Powder, The Seasons, The Two Pigeons, Dante Sonata and Enigma Variations,
The Lady and The Fool, (Birmingham Royal Ballet), The Sleeping Beauty, Tales of Beatrix Potter, La Sylphide,
Sylvia, Cinderella, Napoli Divertissements (The Royal Ballet); Casse Noisette (Toulouse); Aladdin,
Sylvia (National Ballet of Japan) and designs for Northern Ballet, Scottish Ballet, London Children's Ballet, ABT,
Staatsballett Berlin and Stuttgarter Ballett.
Recent opera credits include Mathis de Maler, The Rapeof Lucretia, Les Contes d'Hoffmann (Vienna);
The Magic Flute, Le Nozze di Figaro, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, La Traviata (Scottish Opera); Il Trittico
(directed by William Friedkin and Woody Allen), Falstaff, Peter Grimes, Hansel and Gretel and Ariadne
auf Naxos (Los Angeles); Der Freischütz (Finnish National Opera); Gianni Schicchi, Duke
Bluebeard's Castle (Washington); Salome, Das Gehege (Munich) and The Makropulos Case (Florence) as
well as productions at Holland Park, Antwerp, Ghent, Strasbourg, Potsdam. Drama and Musical credits include productions
at the National Theatre (where he was Head of Lighting from 1993-2003), RSC, West End, many regional theatres in the UK,
Dublin, Paris and in New York including Prometheus Bound which received a Drama Desk nomination for 'Outstanding
Lighting Design'.
