Born in New Zealand, Nathanael Skelton trained there at the International Ballet Academy, before moving to the UK in 2005, to study at Elmhurst School for Dance. As a student he performed with BRB in Romeo and Juliet, The Rite of Spring, Beauty and the Beast and Hobson's Choice. He joined BRB in 2006.
