The Firebird

What's it about?
The ballet opens in a magical garden where the Firebird is stealing golden apples from an enchanted tree. Prince Ivan is also in the garden and catches the bird, only releasing it when he has been given a precious tail feather.

Prince Ivan must then journey to the castle of the evil ogre Kostcheï to win the heart and hand of his princess.
