CommunicationsThis department looks after the Company's marketing, publicity, and corporate identity. The Marketing team plan advertising campaigns, and organise leaflets and posters with a view to selling tickets for performances. The Press and PR team liaise with the press, organising interviews, reviews etc, and also work on internal and external PR, such as audience development initiatives. Birmingham Royal Ballet has its own Publications team, who design and produce all the Company's print and publications, from programmes through leaflets and posters, letterhead and business cards to the website. The department is also responsible for developing and maintaining the Company's merchandise operation. The Communications department also administers the Birmingham Royal Ballet Friends.
