Ballet StaffThe Ballet Staff are responsible for maintaining the Company's technical standards, teaching heritage works and upholding the traditions of classical ballet. Between them they also take Company class. Class lasts one hour and 15 minutes and serves many purposes. It acts as a warm-up at the beginning of the dancers' day, improves musicality, hones the ability to quickly and accurately learn sequences, and maintains and improves technique. A notator will work alongside other members of the ballet staff, notating the steps that are created in a new ballet, or teaching the dancers the steps for a revival.
