Interview and audition arrangementsUnless otherwise stated, interviews are held at our base at the Birmingham Hippodrome, Birmingham. Orchestral auditions are usually held in London. You will normally be notified that you have been short-listed for interview or audition by telephone and in writing. Wherever possible you will receive at least seven days' notice of your interview date. We would like to ensure that the interview arrangements are appropriate to your needs. If you have particular requirements in respect of your needs at interview (e.g. wheelchair access, sign interpretation etc) or regarding the scheduling of your interview, please give details in a covering note with your application or advise us by telephone at least three days before your interview date. Travel expenses for interview / auditionBirmingham Royal Ballet will reimburse reasonable travel expenses for travelling to attend interviews/auditions. This consists of standard class rail tickets or mileage at 40p per mile. Please ensure that you keep copies of all tickets/receipts, as we will not be able to reimburse your travel costs without them. Please note that for those not living in the UK, Birmingham Royal Ballet is unable to reimburse travel expenses unless agreed in advance.
