At Birmingham Royal Ballet, we have worked to make the donation process as straightforward and easy as possible. However we realise that sometimes mistakes can occur.
Under UK charity law, charities are not permitted to refund donations, except in specific circumstances. The Charities Act 2011 can be found here. We are committed to the highest standards of legal compliance and we treat all requests for refunds with the utmost importance.
If you do need to contact us about a donation, please email Geoff Sweeney, Development Director. We will call you to find out what has happened. We will then request some paperwork from you that we can’t legally consider a refund without. Once we receive everything and the refund is approved, we will let you know how long it will take – usually 7-10 working days.
We will always store your data securely and in compliance with the Data Protection Act of 1998. We’ll use your detail to provide the service that you have requested, and communicate with you in the way(s) that you have agreed to. Your data may also be used for analysis purposes, to help us provide the best service possible.
