Following an open recruitment process, Caroline Miller OBE has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Birmingham Royal Ballet. She will take up the appointment with immediate effect.
Caroline has been interim CEO of the Company for the last nine months. Before that she was Executive Director of Orlando Ballet in the United States of America and, between 2006 and 2016, Director of Dance UK.
Announcing the appointment, the Chair of Birmingham Royal Ballet, Sir David Normington said: ‘I am delighted we have been able to secure Caroline Miller as Chief Executive Officer on a permanent basis. She brings us great leadership experience and unrivalled knowledge of the UK dance world. She is a constant source of fresh ideas and has boundless energy and enthusiasm. We are all looking forward to working with her in what is a period of great change for BRB.’
