Tell us a bit about you...

I was born in Cheltenham - in the countryside - and I started ballet when I was 11 years old. I trained at Elmhurst Ballet school in Birmingham from the age of 13, graduated in 2017 and joined Birmingham Royal Ballet as an Artist.

What role would you most love to dance?

I have many dream roles - I'd love to dance as Romeo in Romeo & Juliet or Des Grieux in Manon.

Tell us something about you that people might find surprising...

As well as dancing, I'm also an aspiring choreographer and recently I premiered one of my Ballets, Classical Suite, out in Tokyo, Japan. The piece was danced by students from Elmhurst Ballet School.

What are you most looking forward to about dancing with BRB?

Joining BRB is really exciting and after working with him at Elmhurst on our end of year piece, one of the things I'm really looking forward to is working with David Bintley. Being part of things such as Still Life at the Penguin Cafe and Aladdin later this season is really exciting! I'm also really looking forward to the Macmillan Celebration too.

Tell us a bit about you...

I was born in Harlow, Essex where I started dancing at the Harlow Ballet Association. I then went on to train at Elmhurst Ballet School, graduating in 2017. While I was at Elmhurst, I actually joined BRB out on 4 tours as part of a studentship program - you might have caught me as part of the most recent North Tour!

What role would you most love to dance?

I would love to perform the principal couple from Flowers of the Forest.

Tell us something about you that people might find surprising...

I'm from quite a creative background - both my parents are musicians - my father is the Principal Clarinet in the Royal Ballet Sinfonia. However, most people are usually surprised to find out that I play chess everyday.

What are you most looking forward to about dancing with BRB?

There's lot's to look forward to in this season alone! I'm really looking forward to Elite Syncopations. If I get to dance in this then I'd actually be performing alongside my dad, as he will also be on stage in the band!
