Trained: In Russia before, at the 2000 Prix de Lausanne, being awarded a two-year scholarship with English National Ballet School

Joined: 2002; Soloist, 2016;  First Soloist, 2019

Created roles: Stefano in David Bintley’s The Tempest and Valvert in his Cyrano, and Il Dottore in Kim Brandstrup’s Pulcinella.

Favourite ballet score: Sergei Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet.

Favourite dancer as a child: Mikhail Baryshnikov.
