Schools & Colleges

Dance offers great learning opportunities for children throughout their school career, giving opportunities to learn new skills, be active, have fun, gain confidence and widen aspirations. It combines the elements of physicality, creativity and performance, and can be used to provide a variety of compelling learning experiences.

We work on a variety of projects with schools and colleges in Birmingham, and in and around the towns and cities we visit on our UK tours. Ballet Unwrapped, based on The Nutcracker, offers dance, live music and cross-curricular projects for pupils in Key Stages 1 and 2; find out more below.

If you would like to find out more about working with us, contact the Department for Learning on 0121 245 3500.
