Elaine Garlick has been a costume supervisor for opera, ballet and theatre for over 20 years. After training in fashion she worked in regional theatre and film costume production houses, before joining the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. She became their Senior Costume Supervisor in 2006 and supervised over 50 new productions for The Royal Opera and The Royal Ballet, as well as Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and Miracle in the Gorbals for Birmingham Royal Ballet. Elaine has also supervised new productions for the National Theatre, The Bolshoi, Chicago Lyric Theatre, WNO and the Monty Python reunion show at the O2. In 2015 she joined Birmingham Royal Ballet as Head of Costume.
