Ballet Blizzard
Ballet Blizzard
Welcome to the Ballet Blizzard 2022!
This page gives you more information about the #BalletBlizzard and how you can take part!
Join us from 1 to 8 December for a Ballet Blizzard!
We've got together with The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) to create a joint social media blizzard.
We've teamed up with our friends at the RAD, and are giving you the chance to take centre stage on our TikTok and Instagram channels by recreating the iconic snow scene from TheNutcracker.
Why is it called a 'blizzard'?
We are hoping to cause a storm of videos on TikTok and Instagram, which will take over the hashtag #BalletBlizzard, a little like a blizzard would!
How to take part?
We invite you to record your recreation of the snow scene, inspired by the BRB dancers and RAD Ambassadors and post on Instagram and TikTok between December 1-8, for a chance to win some epic prizes.
I want to take part, what do I do now?
Watch our video of the snow scene and watch the video below to hear from RAD Ambassador and BRB Principal,Céline Gittens detailing her secret tips to the perfect snow scene. In the inspiration pack you can also find a list of suggested songs and detailed instructions.
Download the inspiration pack and read the terms and conditions
When do we pick our favourite pieces?
We will only accept entries submitted on and between 1 and 8 December 2022; all entries must be correctly tagged!
Winners will be announced on 12 December 2022, best of luck!
