Favourite full-length ballet:Manon by Kenneth MacMillan. The psychological journey of the characters demonstrated through MacMillan’s intricate choreography and the expressive score are what make this ballet so special to me. I love seeing what each dancer does with the character of Manon and how her story can be interpreted in so many different ways.
Favourite ballet score: My favorite score, though Manon a close second, would have to be that of Romeo and Juliet. The music captures the intensity of the emotion in the ballet and moves me in a different and new way every time I hear it.
Dream role: My dream role is Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. Performing the role of Juliet has always been a dream of mine as her character is so unique and complex as she develops throughout the ballet. Taking the audience on her journey would be incredibly special and something I would love to experience.
