After completing a degree in Music at Bristol University, Ellie Pinnells trained as a lawyer and is now Head of Litigation at Squire Patton Boggs in Birmingham. She specialises in high-value, complex commercial litigation with an international focus. Born and educated in Germany, Ellie is fully bilingual and frequently advises German clients, particularly within the industrial and engineering sectors.

Ellie has a lifelong passion for the arts and is especially committed to championing the role of the arts in equality, community wellbeing and mental health. Much of her free time is devoted to making music, directing a wellbeing choir at work, and supporting children to gain access to music and the arts.

Ellie has lived and worked in the Midlands for over 15 years and enjoys all that the region has to offer.
