Katherine Ochoa
Katherine Ochoa began her ballet training in 2009 at the National School of Ballet in Cuba, where she developed a broad repertoire and earned both gold and silver medals at the Havana International Ballet Competition. She later joined the Cuban National Ballet, where she quickly rose through the ranks, performing featured roles in Giselle, Swan Lake, Cinderella, Don Quixote, and Umbral, and was ultimately promoted to First Soloist.
In 2019, Ochoa competed at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) semifinals in Chicago, where she won the Grand Prix Award, and advanced to the New York City Finals, placing in the Top 12.
She later joined Cincinnati Ballet, where she was promoted to First Soloist and performed principal roles in full-length productions of Giselle and Don Quixote, among others. In addition to her stage accomplishments, Ochoa was featured as a cover star for Pointe Magazine in the March/April 2024 issue, highlighting her artistry and rising career.
She joined BRB as a First Soloist in August 2025.
