Where are you from? Sutton Coldfield

I am currently studying an extended diploma in Dance which I am really enjoying. I also have a part-time job working in retail.

I am a LEAP Ambassador because it is a great opportunity for me to gain experience in the performing arts industry as well as develop new skills.

What are you passionate about? I am passionate about dance and art. Since the age of three, I have regularly attended dance lessons and these have further enhanced my love for dance. Dance to me is the combination of technique and self- expression with the ability to convey a story or meaning to an audience. Art is also another passion of mine as I thoroughly enjoy studying different artists and experimenting with different media and techniques.

Interesting fact about me: I share the same birthday as my brother who is two years younger than me!

My first encounter with Birmingham Royal Ballet was when I saw Sleeping Beauty. I’ve loved the story of Sleeping Beauty since I was little (I love all Disney films) and to see it portrayed through ballet was really special. One of the highlights for me was seeing the principal dancer who played Aurora as she was amazing.

Favourite dancer: Briar Nolet because she is such a versatile dancer and her strength, flexibility combined with her dynamic content makes for an impressive, effortless performance.
