Born in London, Miko Fogarty trained at the Indiana Ballet Conservatory in the USA and the Jinushi Ballet School, Japan. She has won several awards including the gold medal at the Moscow International Ballet Competition in 2013, silver and bronze awards at Bulgaria’s Varna International Ballet Competition, a Prix de Lausanne Award in Switzerland, 2013, and gold medals at the World Ballet Competition in 2009 and 2011. She joined Birmingham Royal Ballet in 2015.
