Introduced by David Bintley
Born in East Yorkshire, Natasha Oughtred joined the Company in 2007 and her promising talent (first developed with The Royal Ballet, where she attained the rank of Soloist) has since moved into overdrive! Not only has she added Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty to her list of classic roles, but she has also shown great versatility and performance skills in a wealth of leading roles in shorter works. Natasha has a great affinity for the 'English' school of ballet and has not only shown great sensitivity in roles such as Juliet in MacMillan's Romeo and Juliet, the Young Girl and Titania in Ashton's The Two Pigeons and The Dream, but also created the role of The Bride in Michael Corder's Le Baiser de la fée. Natasha is another exciting member of our growing list of Principal dancers.
