Age: 17

Where are you from? Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham

I am currently in Year 13 studying Art, Performing arts and Psychology at A-Level. Alongside this, I work part-time in TK Maxx while also attending Raw Talent Youth Theatre.

I am a LEAP Ambassador because I want to broaden my interests in the industry, so far my prime focus has been on acting but by becoming a LEAP Ambassador I hope to learn more about the costume, lighting and digital aspects to productions, maybe finding something that interests me more.

What are you passionate about? My biggest passion in life is acting, I love how drama helps me to express myself in a way that is beyond just words and is something that I aim to continue as my future career.

What is an interesting fact about you? An interesting fact about me is that I have taken part in all six of my school productions, even playing Miss Trunchbull in our production of Matilda.

My first encounter with Birmingham Royal Ballet... was watching The Nutcracker as part of my A-Level Performing Arts course. I immediately fell in love with the whole production, from the dancers themselves, to the extravagant set and the amazing costumes.

What do you hope to do in the future? I am currently applying to universities to attend next year to study performing arts, I hope that following on from this I can gain a professional career in acting possibly performing on both stage and screen - I am however also interested in the behind the scenes aspect and am considering a possible career in directing instead.
