Paule Constable
Paule Constable is an Associate of the National Theatre, the Lyric Hammersmith and for Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures. She won the Oliver Award for Best Lighting Design in 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2013, and the Tony Award in 2007 and 2013. She works extensively across the world, including for the National Theatre, the Royal Opera House and Glyndebourne. A small selection of credits include: Angels in America, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and War Horse (all National Theatre); The Cripple of Innishman (Michael Grandage Company, West End and Broadway); and Les Misérables (25th anniversary production – Broadway and International). Dance credits include: Le Baiser de la fée (Birmingham Royal Ballet), Elizabeth and Pinocchio for Will Tuckett, The Goldberg Variations for Kim Brandstrup, Seven Deadly Sins (The Royal Ballet), Naked (Ballet Boyz) and The Red Shoes, Sleeping Beauty, Dorian Gray and Play Without Words for Matthew Bourne.
