Where are you from? Originally Wolverhampton, now living in Birmingham.

I am currently… studying A-Levels in Psychology, Sociology and Textiles.

I am on the Creative Pathways programme because… it immediately stood out as an exciting opportunity to explore what working backstage in a production company might be like. I first heard about the programme through my college and having the chance to gain insight into seeing how everything comes together to make a performance happen really appealed to me.

What are you passionate about? Creativity has always been a passion of mine, as it allows me to express myself freely without needing any specific rules or prior knowledge. I can simply create whenever inspiration strikes. Sewing, crocheting, and writing are all firm creative hobbies of mine.

My first encounter with Birmingham Royal Ballet was… taking part in the Creative Pathways programme. I haven’t been living in Birmingham for very long and this experience so far has highlighted just how many creative opportunities are out there and opened my eyes to what other possibilities might be waiting for me to discover.
