Tim Hatley makes his Birmingham Royal Ballet debut with Set and Costume designs for Carlos Acosta's 2022 production of Don Quixote.

Tim (Set and Costume designer) has designed for dance, theatre and film. Work includes Carmen and Don Quixote (Royal Ballet), Roughcut (Rambert), Life of Pi (Sheffield Crucible/ West End), Back to the Future the Musical (Adelphi), Dreamgirls (Savoy & UK Tour), Travesties (Menier Chocolate Factory/ West End/Broadway), Ghosts (Almeida/ West End/ BAM), Little Eyolf (Almeida), Temple (Donmar), Enemy of the People and Pyjama Game (Chichester), Mr. Foote’s Other Leg (Hampstead/ West End), The Bodyguard (West End/UK tour/US tour/ Cologne/Korea), Shrek (West End/ Broadway/UK tour/US tour), Spamalot (West End/ Broadway/ US tour/Vegas), Singin’ in the Rain and My Fair Lady (Chatelet Paris). Film credits include Closer, Notes on a Scandal and Stage Beauty. Tim is Winner of The Linbury Prize for Stage Design, two Olivier Awards, two Tony Awards and four Drama Desk Awards.
