Yen Lee was born in Taiwan and graduated from the Advanced Postgraduate Diploma course in collaborative piano at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, having studied with Margaret Fingerhut and Alasdair Beatson. In 2020, Yen attained a Masters Degree in piano performance with Distinction from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She has participated in many masterclasses, summer courses and competitions. She has also attended many festivals including The Interharmany Music festival, Bernstein Festival and Beethoven Festival at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Yen is an active chamber musician. Recent activities include many duo concerts with violinist, accompanying for the choir of the University of Taipei at the National Concert Hall, appearances in VoxBox; Hugo Wolf workshop with Helen Yorke, Women Composers workshop with Robin Bowman and the Chamber Music Festival at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She was a full-time pianist at Elmhurst Ballet school from 2022-2023.
