8 Before Ava, the hard-edged contemporary blues band made up of BRB dancers, will perform on Sunday 21 September following our performance of Black Sabbath - The Ballet. Join the band at The Hare and Hounds in King's Heath, Birmingham, at 7pm, to watch Company members Miles Gilliver, Max Maslen, Kit Holder and their bandmate Lawrence Massie showcase their talent beyond the studio!

Miles (guitar, vocals, harmonica), Max (guitar), Kit (bass) and Lawrence (drums) are building a rapidly growing following with their electrifying live performances of original material. Their first songs were written backstage in theatre dressing rooms and went on to form the backbone of their ever-evolving set.

Their talent showcases BRB's passion for supporting dancers' creativity both inside and outside the studio, and we are proud to help our dancers thrive not only as artists but also as strong, skilful, and well-rounded individuals of the world. The work of 8 Before Ava is a testament to the incredible versatility and talent that emerges from within the Company.
