Last week, Carlos Acosta joined artist Curtis Holder and curator Ian Sergeant for a special ‘In Conversation’ event at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
Curtis, winner of Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2020, was commissioned to create Carlos’s portrait for the city’s collection. Wednesday's event reunited the pair and offered a behind-the-scenes look at their creative journey and collaboration.
Curtis Holder’s portrait of Carlos Acosta is currently on display at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, featured as part of a broader exhibition of his work.
