News Story

At BRB we're passionate about sharing the joy of dance and its incredible impact on people's lives.

Our Dance Track programme in Birmingham primary schools introduces ballet to children in Year 1 and offers some of them the opportunity to take ballet lessons with us free of charge.

This year we invited Sara Macqueen and Christopher Radford from Linden Dance Company to lead a Dance Track workshop in July. Linden Youth is the community youth strand of Linden Dance Company an innovative professional dance company based in Birmingham.

Linden Youth offers a weekly provision for dancers aged 10 to 22 years with a passion for movement and expression. It is open for any young person who wants to get involved in dance. This youth group trains on a weekly basis in Birmingham and offers many opportunities to perform.

Sara and Chris offered 2025 Dance Track graduate, Olivia, a full scholarship to attend Linden Youth for the 2025/26 academic year and three other 2025 Dance Track graduates Angela, Lumaya and Etty and current student Lily have now joined her and Lucy, Arthur, and Alyssa, 2024 Dance Track graduates who began classes with Linden last year. We are thrilled that this collaboration allows our Dance Track students to continue their dance education and deepen their passion
