We were saddened to hear of the death of photographer Elliott Franks last month.
Elliott was a hugely talented photo journalist whose work was respected by the picture editors of leading publications worldwide.
One of his many specialist areas was photographing the performing arts, especially dance. He was a welcome regular at our photocalls, often found quietly bemoaning the poor WIFI in theatre foyers as he endeavoured to be the first to upload his pictures to the wire. His stunning shots of BRB have run in print and online many times, capturing images of new work or a much-loved revival – and his support of BRB over the years was very much appreciated.
Our thoughts and sympathy are with his family and friends.
