Following Sir Peter Wright's centenary celebrations last week, BRB is delighted to announce the inaugural recipients of the Sir Peter Wright Award.

The award honours behind-the-scenes individuals whose outstanding service, commitment and expertise have made a lasting contribution to Birmingham Royal Ballet over 25 years or more, helping to support and sustain the Company beyond the stage.

The recipients of the Sir Peter Wright Award are: John Beadle, Andrew Bentley, Denis Bonner, Diana Childs, Paul Grace, Desmond Kelly, Marion Tait, Doug Nicholson, Michael O’Hare and Lili Sobieralska.

We are also thrilled to announce the recognition of former Music Director Koen Kessels as Conductor Laureate for his contribution to the Royal Ballet Sinfonia.

Congratulations, all! Thank you for your dedication, commitment and invaluable contribution to Birmingham Royal Ballet.
