The Big Give Christmas Challenge!

From Tuesday 2 to Tuesday 9 December, we are taking part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge. For seven days only, every donation made to BRB will be doubled, up to £70,000!

This Christmas, our Big Give focus is our upcoming 2026 UK tour of Carlos Acosta's iconic Don Quixote – a vibrant, fiery, Spanish ballet full of life, warmth and colour. At a time when the UK's winter feels at its darkest, Don Quixote brings much needed brightness and joy. But we can only bring it to the stage with strong support. 

We’re committed to touring world-class ballet and live music across the UK, but rising costs and declining public funding mean we need your help more than ever. By supporting our 2025 Big Give Christmas Challenge, you will help us meet increasing touring expenses and continue delivering our commitment to bring outstanding ballet to around 50,000 people nationwide during our spring tour. Your generosity will also help us to repair costumes and sets, ensuring we can keep inspiring, dazzling, and delighting audiences long into the future.

A decade ago, we received £1million per year from Birmingham City Council. We no longer receive any Council funding at all. Thanks to the generosity of our Big Give donors, we have been able to refurbish older productions and now we need your help to future-proof Don Quixote. This includes completely re-making the Rascal costumes, repairing the Hanger and Archway sets, and creating new costume tattoos to bring this iconic ballet vividly to life. With your support, we could confidently deliver 42 performances across five UK venues.
