Tomorrow is World Ballet Day! The Company is in London this week performing Into the Musicand we'll be live from Sadler's Wells across the day, sharing loads of content and making a special announcement about Swan Lake in Plymouth.

11am: Class on Stage and Don Quixote mini documentary

Our video of class on stage was a highlight of World Ballet Day in 2020, this year we've got a brand-new class for you. Assistant Director Dominic Antonucci leads the dancers through their daily warm up routine as they prepare to dance Don Quixote at Southampton Mayflower back in January.

After class we'll be sharing a Don Quixote mini documentary created by students from Birmingham City University.

2pm: Forgotten Land studio rehearsal

Forgotten Land is one of three ballets that form Into the Music at Sadler's Wells this week. Here's another chance to see our Facebook Live featuring Cora Bos Kroese coaching Brandon Lawrence and Yijing Zhang.

3pm: Plymouth Swan Lake announcement

We'll be sharing some exciting news about Swan Lake in Plymouth on our social channels at 3pm.

5pm: Becoming Sugar Plum Fairy

Be the first to see this specially commissioned short film, captured by TAKT Productions in 2021. Follow First Soloist Yu Kurihara as she prepares to perform the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker for the very first time.

Find out what it means to dance one of ballet's most iconic roles in one of its best-loved productions.

6pm: Female Choreographers panel discussion

Choreographers Morgann Runacre-Temple (choreographer of Hotel), Stina Quagebeur (ENB Associate Choreographer) and Olive Hardy (Sadler's Wells Young Associate) sit down with dance writer Graham Watts to discuss what more needs to be done within the dance industry to create a more equitable and inclusive industry for female creators.
