About Ashton Rediscovered: Scène d'amour
Watch BRB Principal Samara Downs coach the Scène d'amour pas de deux, originally created
for Margot Fonteyn and Michael Somes. Samara has worked from the original notation and first-hand descriptions of the work in performance to rediscover this lost Ashton gem.
Dance Historian Jane Pritchard will join Samara and the dancers for discussion about the history and re-creation of the piece.
Tickets include a post-show drinks reception.
