Our Wigs Department looks after all the wigs for our productions. Here are a few fascinating facts about the wigs for Don Quixote...

Dancers wear stocking caps to protect their hair and the wigs. The wig is placed over the stocking cap, pinned to the head with hair grips and then the front lace is glued to the forehead.Kristina Borovac, Wigs Assistant

The products cupboard

Between each wear, wigs are cleaned using acetone. After the run, wigs are washed, set in hair rollers and put to dry in BRB's wig oven.Lizzie McQuire, Wigs Assistant
